  Add Favorites in Internet Explorer






Favorites is a feature of Internet Explorer® that allows you to save the location of a web page to make it easier to find again. You can also make it available offline ie you don't have to be connected to the internet to view it.

Before you follow this tutorial you must read the terms of our disclaimer.
You can also hold down CTRL and press D when you are at the page you want to add, but it is good to know your way around internet explorer.

First click on the Favorites button as seen to the left.

You will now see the favorites side bar.

Click on ADD as shown in fig 1.1, this will add the webpage you are currently visiting.

You will now see the Add favorites dialogue box as shown in fig 1.2 above.

If you want to change the title of the page change the text in the box provided.

To save the page to your hard drive put a tick by the Make available offline option.

When done simply click the OK button.

Now you will see the page added to the list on the left, so, to quickly go to this page again in the future, first click the FAVORITES button, and then click on the name of the page in the Favorites Sidebar.

When done simply click on the small X
