  Clear the Cache in Internet Explorer






When you visit a website using Internet Explorer (r) the program (unless you tell it otherwise) stores certain parts of the websites you visit.

For instance it will store pictures on your hard drive temporarily, this speeds up the process of loading the webpage next time you visit it.

Follow the instructions below to delete these temporary files if and when you need to.

Click on TOOLS at the top of the screen, then click on INTERNET OPTIONS as shown below in fig 1.1:

You will now see the Internet Options dialogue box as shown below in fig 1.2:

You can see several buttons, the procedure for clearing your history is:
Click on the DELETE FILES button, again as shown on the left, this will delete the 'cached' elements that Internet Explorer has stored. It will prompt you for confirmation when you click the button.
Clicking on the CLEAR HISTORY button as shown on the left will clear the box that appears with suggestions when you are typing in a web address. It will prompt you for confirmation when you click the button. Notice also that you can select how many days these suggestions are kept in history.
Then simply click the OK button
