Hi people.

I have 2 sites with various bits of kit on them (one office PC based and the other which has CCTV Door access and VOIP telephones but no PCs)

The question I have is - can i connect from my office to a device on the other local network IP address 192.168.1.8
I can remotely connect to the router but want to gain access to the web configuration of a Lynksys PAP2 VOIP adapter beyond that.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Mr H

It all depend what your pc network ip range is. I assume the router is a adsl router in which case all this can do is route to the Internet it cant route internally to another network.

If the other network is in the same range you should be able to get to it.

Your only way is to change your pc network to match the other one and have the other network plugged into the same router. If you use dhcp it only needs a few changes on the router to change the range you dont say what this range is.

As the other is 192.168.1.8 It will have a subnet of 255.255.0.0 and yours at a guess will have a subnet of 255.255.255.0
