Email, or e-mail, is an electronic communication system which has become an invaluable tool for business and personal use alike.

It requires the user to have an email address from which to send and receive messages, the email address format is: user@example.com

To aquire an email address you must signup with an email provider, who will provide you with your email address. There are many companies offering email services, both free of charge and fee-based.

The two predominant methods for sending or receiving emails are to either use a webmail system, such as Yahoo! or Hotmail, or using a mail client such as Microsoft Outlook.
