  Dot Pitch

dot pitch Dot pitch, in the context of computer displays, is normally used to describe a monitor's image performance. It refers to the distance between the holes of the shadow mask in a CRT display, or can also refer to the distance between each dot (sub-pixel) on a colour screen. Dot pitch is measured in millimetres, generally the smaller the measurement, the sharper the display.
