DIMM - Dual Inline Memory Module

DIMM refers to a type of memory module commonly used in desktop PCs, laptops, printers and other devices. DIMMS have a 64-bit data path and are widely used in PCs with 64-bit processors, because they do not need to be doubled up, unlike 32-bit SIMMS.
