Byte

A Byte is made up of 8 bits, and is the measurement unit used to describe the storage capacity and transfer rate of digital systems. One Kilobyte is 1,024 bytes; One Megabyte is 1,024 Kilobytes; One Gigabyte is 1,024 Megabytes, and so on.
