ISO 8859 Codes - How to use ISO 8859 codes

ISO 8859-1 codes provide a useful way of inserting characters into an HTML document and having them displayed correctly by a browser.

For example, they can be used to display special characters such as the trademark and copyright symbols, they can also be used to represent foreign language characters such as Ñ.

ISO-8859-1 codes can also be used when you need to insert certain characters that might otherwise be interpreted by the browser as part of the HTML code.

The format for their use is &#CODE;

Where CODE is the number used to represent that character. For instance, © will produce ©, and ® will produce ®.
